My philosophy of healing is that every person deserves it.
Providing Zen Shiatsu bodywork in Oak Park and the Chicagoland area, Ronen is a licensed massage therapist devoted to physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
In each interaction I work by the principle “You are worthy.”

What is Shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a fully clothed, hands-on bodywork treatment that can be used for relaxation and stress relief as well as address various imbalances of the mind, body, and spirit.
Using the same basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine as acupuncture, Shiatsu utilizes pressure, joint rotations, and stretches to coax the body toward its natural healing capability. Shiatsu also aids in relieving ongoing internal issues such as stress, sleep problems, digestive concerns, immune system issues, chronic illness or chronic pain, emotional distress, and much more.
What My Clients Say
“Ronen went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my whole session. The treatment left my energy grounded and my body relaxed! I’d absolutely recommend for anyone looking to get a little more connected in body and spirit.”

Hi, I’m Ronen.
As a neurodivergent, queer, trans person, I am deeply aware of the stressors that permeate our lives and the barriers that can make it difficult to pursue true health and alignment. I approach my work with a trauma-conscious and body-inclusive mindset. With each and every client I work by the principle “You are worthy.”
Through Zen Shiatsu Chicago in Evanston, I received extensive training which included Shiatsu techniques as well as Reiki. You can read more about Shiatsu massage education at their website: Zen Shiatsu Chicago: The Massage School Alternative. I graduated from the program in 2023 and proudly received my massage therapist license in 2024.
My office is located in downtown Oak Park, Illinois, 1011 S Lake Street #304. This location is just two blocks from the Green Line and approximately one mile from the I-290 Expressway. Free 90-minute parking is available for clients in the building parking lot, accessed from Forest Ave off of Lake Street.
